The Sidereus Academy Certification Program

We have two levels of certification:

Sidereus Medicus is a qualification and title certifying competence in all the fundamental astronomical principles of astrology. This includes a complete and proper understanding of all essential astronomy employed in astrology, as well as mastery of calculations employed in generating natal charts and human life-cycles. The candidate is considered versed in the interpretation of natal charts and cyclic factors and has at least 30 hours of supervised and evaluated consulting experience. This qualified practitioner is aware of ethical considerations that come to bear on the practice of astrology and has committed to honorable conduct in their performance of their astrological work with the public.

Sidereus Adeptus is a title denoting exceptional achievements and contributions in the field of astrology. This title is awarded to astrologers who have distinguished themselves through demonstrating a rare level of skill and expertise. This qualification certifies that the person is equipped to teach others and to speak authoritatively on the most complicated and delicate aspects of astrology. The astrological adept can formulate, lead or competently participate in research projects that advance the subject of astrology.
