- Astrological ABC's - Planets, Signs, Houses & AspectsAstrological interpretation is all about reading and interpreting combinations of symbols. The Planets, Aspects, Signs and Houses constitute the basic alphabet with which one ultimately constructs the words and sentences that unveil the message of the stars. There are certainly other factors that could enter into your astrological equations- but Planets, Aspects, Signs and Houses are the most essential components of the system, and the appropriate place to begin. What follows is a basic description of these elementary symbols and their astrological significance. Although most of what will be presented here is conventional western astrology, I have here and there infused the content with bits of Vedic astrology where it seemed appropriate. Often one system makes explicit what is implicit in the other.4
- Focusing on AspectsThere are many good reason to give aspects pride of place in your astrology. When we're dealing with houses and zodiac signs we encounter some very real and important questions. Which house system? Which zodiac? With aspects you're always on solid ground.1
- TransitsThis is the most exciting and useful thing you'll ever learn in astrology! This doesn't get old. Transits provide a huge amount of useful information on the ebb and flow of life. We discover a world of personal rhythms and cycles in the kaleidescopic interplay between the moving solar system and our unique individual cosmic pattern and signature.0
